1. Video testimonials

Videos have been the favorite format for social media consumers. Naturally, testimonials stand out when published as videos instead of just written content.

Trust has a terrific solution for video testimonial templates:

How Trust’s testimonial templates work for video testimonials

Trust makes the end-to-end testimonial process super simple. Every marketer and business owner can navigate through the tool without any technical expertise, from collecting to designing and publishing video testimonials.

You can create an Interactive testimonial collection form from scratch or start with one of our ready-to-use testimonial templates

We have an exclusive template with unique question-and-answer pairs for multiple businesses, such as coaches, SaaS, healthcare, etc.

The most engaging video testimonials are the ones in which your customers discuss their unique challenges or pain points and how your solution solves them

Trust’s templates come with in-built, ready-to-use questions you can ask your customers to collect the most genuine testimonials. Here’s an example of a template’s questions:

Step 3: Capture an engaging customer video testimonial for social media using Trust’s video testimonial template

Let’s face it. Not every customer would be comfortable being spontaneous on camera or possessing the needed technical skills to record a testimonial video themselves.

So to make things easier for them, Trust provides the Forms option to collect stunning testimonial videos seamlessly.

To create a custom testimonial request form, click “Forms” on the left pane of your Trust dashboard and then “Add New.”

To start your testimonial journey, click on “Testimonials” (left), and then select “Add New“.

Trust lets you capture and add testimonials in two ways:

  1. Add an existing testimonial – text, video, or star rating directly to Trust.
  2. Import testimonials from your social media sites, Google, G2, etc.

You can choose from 2 types of forms – Interactive and Smart.

But for our use case, we’ll be choosing Interactive

Step 4: Share your customer video testimonial request

Trust provides a super quick method to share or request video testimonials. You can either share it as a URL with your client or customer or add it to your website or landing page.

To do this, under the Forms page’s Actions tab, you can see options to add to the website, copy the URL, re-edit the form, and more.

If you choose to “Embed to website,” you get a pop-up message with a code snippet with options to add your testimonial request “Inline” or as a “pop-up notification.”

Select Copy to Clipboard and paste it into your website builder apps, such as WordPress or Wix.

If you wish to share the link, click on “Copy Link” and send it via email or text to your customer.

The best part?

Your customers do not have to sign up or log in to the Trust app to submit their testimonials!

Once submitted, your customer can watch a preview of their submitted video testimonial.

Step 5: Edit your testimonial for social media readiness

You can download the testimonial video as is or use Trust’s built-in editor app – Video Studio to polish the testimonial (highly recommended!)

Video Studio lets you trim and add intros/outros to the testimonial video, cut scenes, add auto-generated captions, change the mode to make it more LinkedIn-specific, add brand colors/logo, etc.

For example, you can piece together multiple customer testimonial videos into a short video for an Instagram Reel and use the auto-captions feature to turn catchphrases into short quotes.

Once edited, download the rendered video from your dashboard and upload it to your favorite social platform.

You can share the link to the testimonial request directly with your customers through emails or personal messages. Click on Copy form URL to the clipboard and share the link.
